2.This poem, I use one of the Canadian landscapes to show my own thought. A person, maybe he find nowhere to live or stand. He might be sad and embarrased. He might kill himself. But I want to say that a person live in the world just because he is existed. No one could rob one's life. Maybe he is not good at study or working, but there must be something that he could do and could do it well. God made him, must give him some advantages. If he in some trouble, sad, don't try to do something hurt himself or people arould him. Just wait and grinding. He would see the light from the sun.

3.A big rock find he is useless and could find nowhere to stand. He couldn't make food like wheats and rice. He couldn't use for buildings. He is sad. But finally, he found that he could be a landscape on the grass. He could face the sky. He became happy.

Cities and urbans not belongs to me.

Countries also not belongs to me.

Where would I stand?

Where could I stand?

I couldn't stand anywhere just because I am a gigantic rock that earth couldn't support me?

I couldn't stand anywhere just because I am not beautiful as famous buildings?

I couldn't stand anywhere just because I am not as useful as wheats and rice?

The answer is negative.

Like the fire could flame in the water,

Like the water could live with the fire.

All negative.

I am not useless because I am a landscape.

Without people, I am.

With people, I am.

I belong to the arts.

I belong to the God.

I should live in the world cause I am exist.

I shouldn't die cause my job is not finished.

Now, I am comfortable.

I am talking with the sky,

I am lying with the grass.

Talking, taking and telling.

Lying, Living and Life.

I am Mr. Rock.

An Alliance with the Huron Empire

a.I could see two parts are fighting. They are very ago I think. They use bows and arrows. They battled at the bridge. Under the ships. There are many ships. On the back. There are many trees and many grass. Maybe the ancient battle are all like this. Such stupid.

b.Maybe. This bows and arrows are the real I think. But I don't think they could war at such a small bridge. They would die ugly. Especially the middle one.

This bay is surrounded by Sudbury, Parry Sound, Manitoulin, Bruce, Grey, Simcoe and Muskoka.

b. Bay is the lake surrounded or besides by a part of land. Like Bay Area in L.A.

5.This is the a photo of this bay. I like this picture. There are a beautiful beach. Cool island and a white ass man. Yeah. Also the lovely rocks.

6.I feel sad. I don't know why. When I see the dark yellow painting style and the lonely stick stickied in the rocks watching the river. I could feel the painter's lonely. When he draw this picture, I could feel his embarrassed. Maybe he had no friends beside him. I don't like this paint, make me sad and make me remember my ex-friends.

7.I feel the power and the sadness. The Canadian landscape would be very strong but lonely. The land is strong and cool. But it is a lonely land without friend. The author might be lonely that time like the painter paint the paint above.

8.I learned what is an alliance and it between two parts. The ancient war's style. The bay's mean. Canadian landscape in emotion and the art of the landscape.

After Port Royal - Champlain Continues

1.This is a picture of the St. Lawrence River. I could see this is a really thin river and it is between the Quebec and the New Brunswick.
Also could see the U.S.A by the bridge of the New Brunswick.


2.This is a photograph of this lake. I have to say this is really magnificently. The new word I learned. I see the river and the falling sun. Also a couple of lands. They are watching each other.


3. For 3 reasons I think.
1-Safer than the land.
2-Easy to do trade between Quebec and New Brunswick.
3-To develop the sea-working.


4.I see a big castle, river and a ship. In fact, there are cites and sky which is also beautiful but not as cool as the castle. Ha ha. This is more like a magic town. A castle with the falling water and rivers. If this is an island. I would say I would buy it if I am rich.


















5.a.Here is the towering cliffs.


b.This is the natural protection. With this, people could defence whatever natural disasters or human disasters. To use the nature things to protect ourselves, is a cool way to develop ourselves.





c.I learned river could be a transportation and how could them help people. And cliffs are natural forts.

Samuel De Champlain - Port Royal

1.A monopoly. This is a really wonderful thing in the world. This means he would be the only fur trader in French if he could make colonies. I love monopoly. It's really hard to explain. For example. Bill Gates. In the world, there should be lots of kind of computer programs. But when Windows came out, around the world's computer use this for a easier way to do work with others. So, step by step, there are only Windows programs in the world. It makes other program company couldn't live in the world. So Bill Gates has a monopoly in the computer world. These days, monopoly is not allowed in law. Unfair. Bill Gates paid for his bill for thousands of money because of monopoly.

2.The king was clever. If Canada became French's colony, the king would be able to rule the Canada and the Canada had to dedicate things and separate there benefit with French. The leader of the Canada would be the CEO of the Canada, which is the son company of the mother company French. It was also glad for the king because it may made him famous in the world. More famous, more money and more conglomerate.

This is Port Royal. Very beautiful. Like Bay in L.A. I could see an island and water inside and outside this island. I could also see the down town and the grow town.

This is the Nova Scotia. Seems like the Port Royal. This is more peaceful. Lovely country side and green grass. I would like in this kind of area when I am old.

BONUS:This is the map of Nova Scotia. When I see this map. I really miss the Taiwan land. These 2 both like the son of the big land. But Nova belongs to Canada but Taiwan don't belongs to China yet. I hope for Taiwan's back.

Nova has such a big shark. Ha ha. I would like to go there to fishing and to eat the shark. But this one looks not delicious. Very terrify.

Samuel De Champlain

1.This is that guy called Samuel De Champlain. Looks so funny. He looks like the Shake Spear. He has long black hair and he has big beard on his face. He is wearing a black coat with white collar. He is fat, just like me. Ha ha.

1b.He is Samuel De Champlain. He is a French. He was born in Brouage, Saintonge, on the bay of Biscay in 1567, and died in Quebec in 1635. His father was a captain of a ship, so he got specific education to be on the sea. Such as navigator and maybe a captain. In his early life. He joined into the army and later, he spent his army life with his uncle, which was a soldier, too.

2.He is the builder of Quebec, Canada. Quebec is a very big and very important part of Canada. He helped defense the Quebec and made the victory of the defense of the Quebec. No him, No Quebec. I think this is a reason why Quebec people could speak French. Samuel comes from France.

3.He first went to explore at 1604. Went to the New France. In 1604, there are some event very big.

(1).Jan 9 1604, the king of England, James I. He made a decision to solve the conflict between religions. He started made Bible by his name. Seems like he preferred Jesus.

(2).Apr 18. Earthquake in San Fransisco.

(3).Dec 29. Earthquake in Quanzhou, Fujian.

(4).Johannes Kepler found a new planet and named that" Kepler ".

Let see. He went to Montreal, Ottawa, Lake Huron and Lake

Ontario. Around these areas.

5.He explored for defense, trade and solved problems. He explored for these reasons. To give the report to the King. To build and defense Quebec. To fight with Indians. To do the fur trade. To defense the New France. Finally, do some army job: to attract or defense.

6.He sailed to finished the exploration. In 1603, he sailed to France on Francois Grave Du Pont's expedition. From 1604-1607 he sailed to Nova Scotia. He used the ships to explore with him. He got a lots of help by sailors.

Reflection

1. I got lots of things in Canadian Studies. Since I came to the school, I had been learn this subject with Ms. Chan. I learned about the provinces and the territories of Canada. Also the provincial flags and the provincial birds and flowers. I also learned the geography and the regions in Canada. I also learned to be honest. Learned to do teamwork.

2. The lesson I could remember is that lesson we learned the British Columbia. That was the first class of the Canadian Studies. In this class, I first tried this kind of teaching style. Lovely teacher with the all English class. In the first 5 minutes, I couldn't catch the class a little, but after 35 minutes, I enjoyed very much. Guess what? That was the lesson I started loving Ms. Chan. So, That was the class I couldn't forget.

3. Changed a little. I have never speak too much English before. But now, everyday learn with English. I feel pound of myself. I hate study before. Now I couldn't live without that. Things never change is that I used to hate uniforms, now also. I have more friends than before. Some of them are the real friends. We could talk use hearts.

4. My goal of June is to get an A in Canadian Studies. B in English 10. Pass the Chinese. B in the P.E and B in the science. I don't want to fail again in P.E and Chinese. My plan is very easy and basic. Just don't late, less talking on the classes. And done homework on time. The most important thing is to keep healthy. As you know. I am not healthy. Ha ha.

5. I am proud of my English teacher, Ms. Chan. First, she finished university when she was only 21 years old. This is really AMAZING. Second, her English is perfect but her Chinese is also very good. When she speak it, I feel very comfortable. Finally, I have to say and I can't hide that is I think she is very very lovely. She could make everyone around her to love her. All above. What a proud I have. I tried my best to learn her lessons. Even sometimes I am lazy, but I really want to done her lessons. For real.
